Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Part-Time EMT-B/EMT-A at Huntsville, TX to support donor health and safety in a fast-growing plasma donation environment. You’ll be part of a lean, high-energy team focused on a welcoming donor experience.

Responsibilities include health screenings, safety monitoring, and collaboration with center staff. EMT certification and BLS/CPR are required; lifting up to 50 pounds and weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to work weekends or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Cross-trained in all center functions including phlebotomy and processing bottles

Compensation: $19 - $24/hour ($19 - $21 for EMT-B, $22 - $24 for EMT-A) + potential monthly bonus

What You’ll Do

As an EMT (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams

• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment
  • For EMT-Bs, 1+ year of work experience
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
