Brightmont Academy seeks a Part-Time Elementary Teacher to deliver personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. The role emphasizes a flexible schedule and a focus on dedicated individual teaching without extra lesson planning or outside work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics)
• Patience and empathy; supports diverse learners
• G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS) proficiency
• Ability to provide fingerprints and pass a federal background check

Responsibilities

• Teach students one-on-one, tailoring lessons to individual needs
• Focus on student mastery through individualized instruction
• Avoid lesson planning and outside work constraints; concentrate on effective teaching

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics-anything that fuels your passion!).
• Patience & Empathy: You understand that every student learns differently, and you’re committed to supporting them every step of the way.
• A Heart for Teaching: A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Orton Gillingham trained
• A teaching certification - nice to have, but not required!
• Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
• Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
