Job summary

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Teacher to provide focused, one-to-one instruction. This role emphasizes a flexible schedule, with no required lesson planning or outside work, and includes daily student-centered engagement.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area and be proficient with G-Suite and LMS. Fingerprint background checks are required and a 1:1 teaching model is central to our approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the subject area you’ll teach (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics or related field).
• Patience and empathy; able to adapt to each student’s learning pace.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach students one-on-one in a small-group model focused on individual instruction.
• No lesson planning or outside work required; deliver pre-prepared instruction tailored to the student.
• Support and guide students toward mastery using a gradual release approach.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics—anything that fuels your passion!).
