TITLE: Elementary Paraprofessional

QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

Meet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below:

• 1. Two years of post- secondary education coursework (48 college credits) or
• 2. Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDEor
• 3. Passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test or
• 4. Possess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities
• Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months
