Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Display Installer for Waterloo, IA. You will visit stores to install and maintain promotional displays, ensuring accurate placement and function across a defined territory.

The role offers up to 15 hours weekly, weekday daytime shifts, with opportunities for more hours on larger regions or travel. Training is provided, and you’ll report results with photos after each visit.

Qualifications

• Experience with merchandising, 3PL or relevant retail work is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle varied merchandising tasks within a territory.
• Attention to detail to follow instructions and display diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Access to internet, GPS-enabled device, and basic handheld tools.
• Must have a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory.
• Purpose: ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Clients: support global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Scheduling: up to 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri; 8am–6pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Opportunities: potential for more hours if covering larger regions or travel.
• Reporting: submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each visit.
