Job summary

Right At School in Reading, PA is hiring an Educator to support before/after school programs. You will run daily activities, lead engaging curriculum, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment that inspires a love of learning. The role requires at least 1 year of child-care experience and strong teamwork skills.

Shifts are split, with morning and afternoon blocks, totaling up to 17.5 hours per week. State requirements and First Aid/CPR certification are necessary; HS diploma or GED with

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements and have First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test and 18+ years of age.
• HS Diploma / GED with relevant coursework or credentials.
• Ability to lift and assist with classroom activities and safety.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings.
• Prepare activities and curriculum aligned with objectives; lead daily fitness and educational activities.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Monitor safety, document attendance and incidents, follow protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
