Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Education experience in a classroom or nature center setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and conduct Bay Education Center programs, Science on a Sphere, K-12 programs, community education, and other scheduled programs and exhibits.
• Oversee publicity of the Bay Education Center and related programs through presentations, social media, brochures, etc.
• Oversee Bay Education Center budgets and purchases, provide annual reports and other reporting and presentations.
• Create new public program content for Science on a Sphere for all learners.
• Supervise part-time staff and volunteers, and assist with performance evaluations and scheduling.
• Draft and monitor Rockport Hotel Occupancy Tax quarterly reports and annual renewal request.
