• Earned doctorate in leadership studies, leadership education, higher education, student development, organizational studies, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned course(s) on campus by delivering appropriate course content, preparing materials, grading, and providing feedback.
• Delivers online course content and activities via the university's LMS according to JWU outlines.
• Maintains course site in the LMS with weekly updates to the grade center.
• Keeps records of attendance and academic performance per university policy.
• Distributes syllabus with objectives, materials, attendance policy, and evaluation criteria.
• Communicates with student, department chair, and counselor for students at risk of failure.
• Directs students to university resources for support services as needed.
• Updates faculty information system to reflect teaching credentials.
• Attends faculty orientation and meetings when requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
