Job summary

Aurora University seeks a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach ECS-3200 Observation and Assessment of the Young Child for the Spring 2027 semester. The course is in-person and meets M/W/F 10:40AM-11:45AM; instructors will guide teacher candidates in assessing developmental skills and using a variety of instruments.

Candidates must hold an Early Childhood Special Education Licensure and demonstrate ability to test, interpret results, and collaborate on learning plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold Early Childhood Special Education Licensure.
• Experience teaching in-person higher education courses is preferred.
• Commitment to inclusive, bias-free instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Teach ECS-3200 Observation and Assessment of the Young Child for Spring 2027.
• Deliver in-person lectures and lead activities Mondays/MW/Fri 10:40–11:45.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to support learning.
