Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is hiring a dedicated Echocardiography Technician to support our patient care team. You will perform echocardiography, Doppler, and color flow studies and assist physicians with stress testing.

We seek RDCS or RDMS certified professionals with an Associate's degree in Echocardiography or related field, and ideally two years of clinical hospital experience. This is a day-shift, 30-hour-per-week position at multiple PMC locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Echocardiography or related field required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• Two years experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography, Doppler, and color flow on all patients.
• Assist the physician in cardiac echo stress testing.
• Maintain the Philips Affiniti CVX 70 equipment necessary for all echo testing.
• Order supplies needed for designated area.

Education

What will you do as a PMC Echocardiography Technician

As a PMC Echocardiography Technician, you will serve as an essential part of the patient’s experience byassisting the PMC physicians in conducting echocardiography testing of the patients

A day in the life of a PMC Echocardiography Technician may include:

• Performing echocardiography, doppler, and color flow on all patients.
• Assist the physician in cardiac echo stress testing.
• Maintaining the Philips Affiniti CVX 70 equipment necessary for all echo testing.
• Ordering supplies needed for designated area.
• Being a key piece in the PMC mission by providing the highest quality of care to our patients and the communities we serve.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Echocardiography or a related field required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.

Shift

Day Shift (Monday through Friday) no weekends or holidays
