Job summary

Food & Friends in Washington, DC, seeks a part-time Morning Shuttle Driver to operate a passenger mini-van between Fort Totten Metro and our Riggs Road campus. Shifts run 5:45 AM to 10:45 AM, Monday through Friday, offering an early-morning role helping neighbors in need.

Requirements include a valid driver's license (CDL not required), a good driving record, fluency in English, and excellent people skills; prior driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet staff, volunteers, and visitors and transport them between the Fort Totten Metro station and Food & Friends’ campus on Riggs Road, NE.
• Respond to calls from passengers who need to be picked-up.
• Fill van with gas as needed; and
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to supervisor.
