Job summary

The Sunshine House in Easley, SC is seeking a childcare teacher to provide safe, nurturing early education and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. You will support safety, development, and daily care while partnering with families.

Starting at $17 per hour, with potential raises for advanced education and experience in early childhood education. This part-time role includes a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Lift up to 30 lbs for child safety.
• At least 30 days teaching experience in a DSS licensed daycare setting.
• ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.
