Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (Maplewood) is seeking a part-time e-commerce associate to accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for pickup or delivery. The role emphasizes attention to detail, fast service and strong customer interactions in a retail setting.

You will support the e-commerce team by ensuring correct items, timely preparation, and coordination with store staff. The position requires standing, walking and adapting to shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and walk long distances
• Memorization, reading, writing and math
• Strong customer service and attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions and write identifying information
• Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 16 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality selection of product
• Execute on delivery times and order accuracy
• Follow department safety and sanitation programs for selection, transportation and delivery
• Observe standards and procedures regarding store security and confidentiality
• Effective communication with other departments and store staff
• Provide comparable products for substitution
• Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging orders efficiently
• Check expiration dates during store presence
