Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an E-commerce Driver in Johnston, IA for part-time, on-the-go delivery. You will be the face of Hy-Vee at customers' doors, delivering online orders with friendly service and ensuring items are stored properly and delivered safely.

Responsibilities include loading orders, processing payments, validating age for alcohol orders, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. A valid license and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no DOT restrictions; must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and going the extra mile to ensure a positive interaction.
• Organize, gather, and load online orders, ensuring items are stored at proper temperatures throughout the process.
• Deliver products to customers safely, on time, and in compliance with traffic laws and delivery requests.
• Validate customer age for orders containing alcohol.
• Process payments, make change, and return payments and beginning cash to the store as needed.
• Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones and process orders through the POS system as needed.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and upkeep; substitute products when unavailable.
• Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
