Job summary

Allied Universal in La Habra, CA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driving Patrol. In this role you will provide unarmed security, drive patrols across the site, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering friendly customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors.

This part-time position pays $20.00 per hour, with night shift hours listed, and requires a valid driver's license, HS diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with policy.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors following security procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and complete required reports.
• Assist with directions and visitor access procedures and communicate with property reps and law enforcement when needed.
