Job summary

Boomerang Transport in Hickory, NC is seeking drivers who can set their own hours while helping injured workers get to appointments. You will use your own vehicle, drive safely, and schedule rides in advance to fit your life.

You will be paid by the hour for wait time and per loaded mile, with additional gas reimbursement when national average exceeds $2.84. Typical trips pay about $50, with about two trips per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Own a 4-door sedan, minivan, or SUV under 15 years.
• Be at least 25 years old.
• Must carry an active cell phone plan and provide proof of 6 consecutive timely payments if prepaid.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien with a TIN (SSN, EIN, ITIN acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Transport injured workers to medical appointments.
• Wait at the facility when wait time is approved and paid by the hour.
• Operate your own vehicle for scheduled rides.
• Coordinate ride times to fit your schedule.

Rides are scheduled in advance so that you can choose the times that work best for your schedule. You'll also get paid by the hour to wait at the facility when wait time is approved. You might qualify if you meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have a 4 door sedan, minivan, or SUV that is less than 15 years old

• $0.75 per loaded mile
• Gas Reimbursement Plan when national average is over $2.84 (Gas Bonus)
• Average trip pays $50, most drivers get 2 trips a week

***Eligibility Requirements:

• A minimum age of twenty-five (25) years.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence for the type of vehicle to be operated.
• Must be current on personal auto insurance policy.
• Must have an active cell phone plan, however if prepaid and NOT on autopay then must provide proof of 6 consecutive timely payments.
