Job summary

Boomerang Transport is seeking drivers in Bloomington, IL to transport injured workers to appointments using your own vehicle. Rides are scheduled in advance to fit your timetable, with pay by the hour for wait time at the facility when approved.

Eligible applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a newer 4-door sedan/minivan/SUV, active auto insurance, and an active cell phone plan. English conversational ability is required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence for the type of vehicle to be operated.
• Must be current on personal auto insurance policy.
• Active cell phone plan required (proof if prepaid and not on autopay).
• English conversational proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Transport injured workers to appointments in your own vehicle.
• Rides scheduled in advance to fit your schedule.
• Paid by the hour to wait at the facility when wait time is approved.

Job Location: Bloomington, IL

Set your own hours and make a difference in people's lives. At Boomerang Transport you will transport injured workers to their appointments from the comfort of your own vehicle. Rides are scheduled in advance so that you can choose the times that work best for your schedule. You'll also get paid by the hour to wait at the facility when wait time is approved. You might qualify if you meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have a 4 door sedan, minivan, or SUV that is less than 15 years old
• $0.75 per loaded mile
• Gas Reimbursement Plan when national average is over $2.84 (Gas Bonus)
• Average trip pays $50, most drivers get 2 trips a week

***Eligibility Requirements:

• A minimum age of twenty-five (25) years.
• Possession of a valid driver's license issued by your state of residence for the type of vehicle to be operated.
• Must be current on personal auto insurance policy.
• Must have an active cell phone plan, however if prepaid and NOT on autopay then must provide proof of 6 consecutive timely payments.
• Must be a US citizen or resident alien with a TIN- Taxpayer Identification Number (SSN, EIN, & ITIN are acceptable).

Boomerang Transport is strongly against texting while driving, but our drivers send text messages in while they are parked to update us on the status of their trip, so text messaging is required. Are you comfortable using text messaging for business purposes? *
