Job summary

Veyo is seeking drivers in Houston, TX to transport patients to non-emergency medical appointments in their own vehicles. You set your own schedule and work as an independent contractor, earning up to $25 per hour with weekly payouts and no lease costs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have at least 3 years of driving history in the U.S.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Have a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Have valid Texas vehicle registration.
• Have valid Texas vehicle insurance.
• Own a 4-door vehicle, 2006 or newer (no pickup trucks or coupes).
• Own an iPhone or Android smartphone.
• Be proficient in English.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Be able to pass a drug screen where applicable.
• VeyoRide recommends having a rideshare endorsement.
• Houston Only: Certification from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Reporting Suspected Abuse or Neglect of a Child (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Open the Veyo Driver App and log on.
• Accept a trip request.
• Pick up the passenger at the specified location.
• Drop off the passenger at the specified location.
• Repeat driving assignments as directed.
