Job summary

A leading art supply company is seeking a part-time Drawing and/or Watercolor Instructor to teach classes at the Michaels store in Ramsey. Ideal candidates should possess the ability to draw or paint realistically and teach these skills to students. This role offers flexibility and the chance to build a student base without maintaining a separate studio. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus additional earnings based on student attendance. Certification through the appropriate channels is necessary to apply.

Qualifications

• Must provide certification through Grumbacher to teach classes.
• Classes are two hours in length with a focus on finished artwork.
• Experience in teaching art is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes at the Michaels store in Ramsey.
• Engage students during classes to complete their projects.
• Coordinate class schedules with store management.
