Qualifications

• Earned DPT in physical therapy.
• Active, unrestricted PT license and eligibility for a Georgia PT license.
• Expertise beyond entry-level education in content areas taught.
• Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
• Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
• Applicants hired to teach online courses must complete the online certification program offered by Georgia Southern University if not already certified to teach online.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in graduate-level courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
• Courses may include early professionalism, leadership and management, lifespan issues related to adults and pediatric patients, assisting with skills labs, or evidence-based practice.
• Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
