Job summary

Pomegranate Market in Sioux Falls is seeking a friendly Smoothie Coffee Barista for our Wellness Bar. You will prepare coffee, smoothies, juices, and other beverages while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer.

This part-time, hourly role reports to the Groove Manager. Benefits include employee discounts and health/dental insurance for eligible staff, with a casual uniform and a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior cafe/coffee bar/juice bar experience preferred but not required.
• Genuine interest in wellness, nutrition and high-quality beverages.
• Friendly, reliable and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Comfortable learning POS systems and basic recipe/prep procedures.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, smoothies, juices, and other beverages according to recipe standards.
• Operate espresso and other beverage equipment.
• Greet customers and deliver a friendly, high-quality experience.
• Operate the POS system accurately and process card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area per food safety standards.
• Stock and restock ingredients, cups, and supplies during shifts.
• Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and minimize waste.
• Communicate ingredient or supply shortages to the Wellness Bar Manager.
• Support promotions and seasonal menu rollouts as directed by leadership.

We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Smoothie Coffee Barista to join our Wellness Bar team.

As a Smoothie Coffee Barista, you will prepare and serve coffee, smoothies, juices, and other wellness beverages while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer. You’ll keep the bar clean, stocked, and running efficiently, working closely with your teammates and the Wellness Bar Manager to keep quality and service consistent.
