Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and welcoming for residents. You’ll collect bagged trash and recycling from doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your pickup truck or trailer.

Typical shifts are evenings, about 10–15+ hours per week, with a Monday–Sunday rotation and DailyPay available for fast pay. You’ll stay local and enjoy steady, active work near home.

Qualifications

• Own either (1) an open-bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle with a trailer for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with data plan to download and use our app and receive SMS updates
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Responsibilities

• Every service night, collect bagged trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps and ensure it’s gone by morning.
• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from doorsteps and transport to the on-site compactor using your truck or trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift within the local area.
• Stay active by walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.

What You’ll Do

• Every service night, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, so it's gone by morning.
• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on‑site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.

Qualifications

• Own either (1) an open‑bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, and willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre‑employment process and employment, including updates, scheduling, and work‑related information
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
• Work around bagged trash and waste
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
