Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Service Valets to collect bagged trash and cardboard from residents’ doorsteps at nearby apartment communities. You’ll drive an open-bed pickup or tow vehicle with a trailer, work evenings, and help keep communities clean and welcoming.

Expect 10–15+ hours per week with a consistent evening schedule and local routes. You’ll use a mobile app to check in and document your work, with daily pay options available.

Qualifications

• Own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Smartphone with data plan to download and use our work app.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift in the local area.
• Walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors during shifts.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed.

We're hiring part‑time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and welcoming for the people who live there.

What You’ll Do

Every service night, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, so it's gone by morning.

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on‑site compactor using your open‑bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long‑distance driving, bulk item collection, or off‑site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.

Qualifications

• Own either (1) an open‑bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, and willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre‑employment process and employment, including updates, scheduling, and work‑related information
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
• Work around bagged trash and waste
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
