Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists to keep apartment communities clean and welcoming. You’ll collect trash at residents’ doorsteps and move it to on-site compactors in the local area, with evening shifts and no long-distance driving.

You’ll work evenings (Sunday-Thursday starts after 7:00–8:00 PM), stay local to your community, and use our app for check-ins, photos, and scheduling. DailyPay is available and full-time hours aren’t required.

Qualifications

• Own an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a tow trailer.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Smartphone with data plan to use the work app and receive SMS updates.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport to on-site compactor.
• Service one or more nearby communities during the shift.
• Stay active: walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors.

We're hiring part‑time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and welcoming for the people who live there.

What You’ll Do

Every service night, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, so it's gone by morning.

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on‑site compactor using your open‑bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long‑distance driving, bulk item collection, or off‑site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.

Qualifications

• Own either an open‑bed pickup truck or a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, and willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre‑employment process and employment, including updates, scheduling, and work‑related information
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
• Work around bagged trash and waste
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
