Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Service Valets to keep apartment communities clean and welcoming. You will collect trash from doorsteps, transport it to the on-site compactor, and service nearby communities during evening shifts.

A qualifying vehicle (open-bed pickup or tow vehicle with trailer) is required, along with a valid license and insurance. You’ll use our app to check in and document your work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Smartphone with data plan to use the app and receive updates.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from residents’ doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor.
• Service one or more nearby communities during your shift within the local area.
• Walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors during the shift.

Job description

No long-distance driving. No off-site dumping. Just local apartment communities, steady evening work, and a routine you can count on. Important: To perform this role, you must have either: Your own open-bed pickup truck, or A vehicle capable of towing a trailer and a trailer you’ll use for the job. We're hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and welcoming for the people who live there. This role is ideal if you're looking for reliable extra income, a second job, and consistent evening work close to home.

What You’ll Do

• Every service night, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, so it's gone by morning.
• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.

Qualifications Own either (1) an open-bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used Must be 18 years of age or older Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, and willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre-employment process and employment, including updates, scheduling, and work-related information Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required) Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
