Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Davison, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise and help meet daily production goals.

You will move processed items to the sales floor, assist donors, and keep workspaces clean while maintaining reliable attendance and flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Paid training, ongoing coaching, and employee discounts are provided to support your growth in retail and customer service roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors.
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Education

High school diploma or currently pursuing
