Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system.
• Demonstrated ability to sort donations and maintain displays.

Responsibilities

• Receive donated items.
• Sort donations by category.
• Complete paperwork.
• Operate cash register.
• Maintain displays.
• Stock merchandise.
• Remove outdated merchandise per rotation schedule.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping.
• Follow sorting and pricing guidelines for textiles and hardlines.
• Recognize name brands, vintage, and collectible items.
• Size and hang textiles.
• Differentiate materials and place in proper containers.
