Job summary

Eddy in Ohio is seeking a part-time dog daycare assistant to help supervise dogs of all sizes and energy levels. You will interact with the dogs, ensure a safe and clean environment, and assist with feeding and daily care tasks.

The role involves light administration, photo updates for social media, and collaboration with team members. Weekend and holiday availability is required; 15–25 hours weekly at $13–$15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages.
• Team player with reliable time management.
• Punctuality and dependability are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willing to learn and improve skills.
• 1+ year dog daycare/kennel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs at play, separated by size, energy level, and age.
• Interact with dogs to provide a safe, clean, and fun environment.
• Feed and administer medications as needed.
• Perform daily cleaning of the turf, daycare room, and surfaces.
• Create daily report cards for pet parents and take playtime photos for social media.
• Coordinate with staff on dog behavior and habits.
