Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pet Bather to provide top-notch grooming services to our furry clients. This part-time role involves washing, hand-drying dogs of all sizes, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting staff with grooming tasks and friendly client communication.

Requirements include preferred grooming experience, potential certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous grooming experience is preferable.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus or references for experience.
• Passion for working with animals and excellent handling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Quality grooming of dogs of all sizes.
• Ability to lift 30-50lbs when needed.
• Ability to work holidays or surrounding holiday windows.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Part-time dog bather needed. Efficiently & thoroughly wash & hand dry dogs of all sizes.
• Ability to provide anal gland expression nail trims, brush outs, ear cleaning and other grooming services.
• Take bathing appointments, as well as washing dogs in house at the facility.
• Ability to help care for other dogs & complete Camp tasks if needed.
• Communication with staff in conjunction with time management of bathing services.
• Helping with building tasks in-between bathing appointments.
• Maintain a clean & happy work environment for peers & pups!
