Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a part-time Dock Worker in Kentucky to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. The role offers pay starting at $23.95 per hour and the opportunity for fast advancement within a professional, people-centered environment.

You will complete pre/post trip inspections, document freight processes, and participate in Dayton Freight’s training programs. Flexible schedules and modern facilities support a productive workday.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Basic math skills
• Fluent in English
• Able to pass a drug screen

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner.
• Dock Workers do not work inside a warehouse, maximize space when loading freight.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
• Properly document all freight control processes
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs
• Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
• Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual
