Job summary

Clearwater at South Bay is seeking a Part-Time/On-Call Dishwasher in Torrance, CA. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing dishes, assisting in kitchen duties, and supporting dining services in a luxury senior living community.

Weekend availability is required. Pay range is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) contributions, paid vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cleans and organizes dish storage and washing areas in accordance with community safety and department policies.
• Washes all dishes, eating utensils, cooking tools and ensures items are properly sanitized and stored.
• Maintains sanitation levels of dish machine and sinks using test strips.
• Ensures water temperature is correct for cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing.
• Maintains daily temperature and sanitizer logs.
• Transports food as needed and returns carts to kitchen promptly.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies when to order more.
• Minimizes waste and ensures proper use of equipment at all times.
• Complies with Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe operations.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform/name tag policy.
