Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a hardworking team player to support kitchen operations as a dishwasher. You will help prepare clean china, glassware, and utensils for cooks, bussers, bartenders, and servers, while keeping work areas sanitary and organized.

Prior kitchen experience and a Food Handler Certification are preferred. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with benefits including healthcare, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and training, and able to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep area in kitchen clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove all trash and debris from restaurant routinely.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• Take on responsibilities outside of this job description as needed.
