Qualifications

• No education requirement; six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly.
• Keep the work area clean and neat and follow food-safety practices.
• Remove trash and take department garbage to the compactor or designated area.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide courteous service.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and Hy-Vee policies.
• Report to work on time and be reliable.
