Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Colorado seeks a part-time Employment Specialist in Denver to help individuals with disabilities succeed in the workforce through training, coaching, and retention support. You will provide on-the-job and educational coaching, assist with resumes and job applications, connect clients with employers, and collaborate with the ISE Program Manager to foster long‑term success.

This 20–25 hour per week role is temporary (about 2–4 months) with potential extension or transition

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
• If no prior experience, enthusiasm for supporting a diverse workforce and willingness to learn is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct on-the-job and educational coaching to individuals with IDD and other disabilities to support job/class success.
• Support clients in real-time workplace situations—modeling appropriate behavior, building skills, and helping navigate challenges with confidence.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and employers, ensuring strong communication and positive working relationships.
• Partner closely with the ISE Program Manager to align support strategies and ensure each client is set up for success.
