Centenary United Methodist Church in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a passionate, skilled Director of Music to lead our choir and congregation in worship through music.

This part-time role (approximately 15–20 hours/week, varying with the church calendar) involves directing weekly rehearsals, playing piano, preparing lyrics for musicians and the AV team, and supporting special services such as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter, while nurturing music ministry across all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience directing a choir or vocal ensemble.
• Ability to lead both traditional and contemporary worship.
• Strong piano skills; additional keyboard abilities prized.

Responsabilités

• Lead weekly choir rehearsals and direct music for all worship services.
