Job summary

ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC seeks a Direct Support Professional for the Liverpool area. Position is part-time/per diem with additional hours available. Starting pay is $19.25/hour, with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
• Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills.
• New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the individual in making healthy choices and maintaining money management skills.
• Support participation in exercises and activities, including pool aerobics classes.
• Provide personal care in a restroom setting as needed.
• Travel to various locations as required and be flexible with schedule.
