Job summary

R.J. Corman's My Old Kentucky Dinner Train in Bardstown, KY is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our culinary team.

This role supports kitchen operations, ensures clean dishes and equipment, and helps maintain sanitary standards while working with the kitchen crew on busy events. Candidates should be able to read and follow instructions and lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided for safety and on-board procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes and kitchen equipment and sanitation standards.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of dish machine and report issues to Kitchen Manager.
• Assist in food preparation for large quantities while meeting sanitary standards and time requirements.
• Support kitchen staff in storing and stocking deliveries and placing away food items.
• Maintain sanitary and orderly work areas and customer service spaces.
• Be flexible and able to work on a moving train and during special events.
