Job summary

Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking Dining Assistants/Servers to provide dining services to residents in a community setting. The role supports meals in dining rooms, private dining spaces and room deliveries, with attention to timely, appetizing service.

This part-time position offers rotating shifts (6am-2pm for full-time; 3pm-8pm or 4pm-8pm for part-time), with paid holidays and generous PTO. Prior food service and geriatric care experience are preferred, along with strong communication

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided; previous experience in food service preferred.
• Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
• Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to follow oral and written English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals timely that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Performing proper setting of tables.
• Serving resident meals in the dining room, private dining room and/or delivering trays to resident's rooms/apartments
