Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must like to smile, and smile often.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Interest in working with the elderly.
• Ability to work well under pressure, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of timing and how to apply it to serving.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inform residents of daily menu selections and serve meals with high customer service and maintain a clean dining room.
• Greet residents and guests and inform them of menu options.
• Take orders and assist with meal selections as requested.
• Present meals in a friendly and pleasant manner.
• Address residents by name and know their food preferences.
• Be alert to residents' needs and any service issues.
• Clear and bus tables, reset dining areas as needed.
