Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York, NY is hiring a part-time Dining Server to provide friendly, timely meal service to residents and guests. You will take and deliver orders, assist with menu selections, and help create a warm, respectful dining atmosphere.

Join our team to ensure clean dining spaces, follow safety standards, participate in pre-meal briefings, and use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and delivery. Experience in hospitality or senior living a plus.

• Ability to carry and deliver trays safely.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
• Bus and reset tables per community standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
