Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Attendant to enhance the dining experience for Residents. You will assist in Casual and Fine Dining, greet tables, take orders, and serve a full range of courses with a friendly manner.

No prior work experience is required, and applicants must be at least 15 years old and able to communicate in English. Food handler permits may be required within two weeks of hire, and you’ll help with cleaning and room-service tasks as needed.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Dining Room Attendant, you’ll do more than serve meals, you’ll create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy to Residents. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experienceby assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable momentsin Fine Dining by warmly greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving a full range of courses, from beverages to desserts.
• Keep the dining room looking its bestby clearing and resetting tables, carefully handling dishes, filling and refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organizedby vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trayswith a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindlyto resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Jump in and help where neededby completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
