Wilcox and Flegel in Kentucky is seeking a part-time server for Indy Way Diner to greet guests and deliver food and beverages with a friendly, efficient manner.

You will take orders, describe menu items, upsell where appropriate, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accuracy and timely service in a busy, welcoming dining room.

Flexibility for weekends/holidays, cash handling, and a positive, guest-focused attitude are highly valued as you contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Restaurant server experience required.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Basic math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort customers to tables.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay to kitchen.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on items and allergens.
• Upsell additional items when appropriate.
• Deliver checks and process payments and tips.
