Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a passionate Dietitian to join our Community Based Outpatient Clinic team in Roane County, TN. This part-time role is three days per week (24 hours) and focuses on providing prescribed medical nutrition therapy under physician guidance.

You will educate patients, plan diets, conduct nutrition classes, and collaborate with the VISTA/CPRS EMR system to support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nutrition from an accredited school.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment (VA contractual requirements may apply).
• Two years' experience with adult patients preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS as required by VA contract.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on healthy food choices and diet therapy.
• Plan diets and menus to meet medical needs.
• Conduct nutrition education classes.
• Serve as a community resource to patients.
• Create in-house nutrition education materials for staff and patients.
