Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Part-Time Dietitian in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to join Morrison Healthcare’s acute care team. The role provides Medical Nutrition Therapy, patient education, and interprofessional collaboration to improve inpatient nutrition outcomes.

The candidate should be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible for the CDR exam, with licensure in the state or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian or willing to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
• Healthcare experience preferred; strong clinical training welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.
