Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Clinical Dietitian to support nutrition care at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This 24 hours/week role focuses on general medicine units and offers pro-rated pay with potential for a sign-on bonus.

You'll apply the Nutrition Care Process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to evidence-based practice in a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field (ACEND approved).
  • OR Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements (eligible after 1/1/2024).
  • RD/RDN eligibility with plan to become registered within 120 days.
  • Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at hire.

  • Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
  • Provide nutrition counseling and staff training as needed.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Clinical Dietitian to work 24 hours/week at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 700-bed level III trauma center located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This position will cover the general medicine units.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced Dietitian! Salary will be pro-rated, based on number of hours worked. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Pay Range: $56270 per year - $72820 per year

  • Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities as part of a contractual agreement, using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation).

  • Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and foodservice staff; collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and departments to ensure safe, high-quality care.

  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients, healthcare staff, students, and foodservice teams, adjusting content for clinical complexity.

Requirements
  • Education Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines

  • OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.

  • Management Experience: 0-1 years

  • Related Experience: 0-3 years

  • Credentials Requirement:

  • Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire

  • Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
