Job summary

Miller’s Health Systems in Indiana is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist in the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times, while upholding infection control and sanitation policies. You will interact with residents to ensure an enjoyable dining experience and maintain a neat, professional appearance.

This part-time role runs 3:45pm-7pm, two weekdays plus every other weekend, with a pay rate of $12.75/hr.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training. Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Report to work as scheduled or otherwise requested.
• Perform productively in their jurisdiction of work.
• Conform to the basic rules and regulations of the facility.
• Remain in work area unless on break, meal period, or with permission of supervisor.
• Conform to dress and hygiene codes of the facility.
• Exercise proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure the safety of the residents through adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Attend all mandated meetings and inservices unless otherwise excused.
• Complete all electronic inservices as required.
• Assist in general maintenance of work area.
