Job summary

Aspire Inc. in Aberdeen, SD is seeking an entry-level Dietary Assistant to support daily food-service operations in a day services facility serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, food service, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

The position works Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with responsibilities including following approved menus and diet orders, managing inventory,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior food service or kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and diet orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing the lunch meal on weekdays per approved menus and diet orders.
• Maintain food inventory, storage, and monitor expiration dates.
• Complete paperwork, diet order records, and meal counts for billing.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary; ensure equipment functions properly.
• Follow Aspire Inc. policies and safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies to meet production demands.
