Trenton Gardens Rehabilitation is seeking a resident-focused Dietary Aide to join its culinary team in a long-term skilled nursing facility. The role supports meal preparation, tray setup, and timely service to residents, with emphasis on sanitation, safety, and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care dietary requirements.
• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Observes proper food handling techniques and prepares trays for meals.
• Delivers and retrieves food carts to and from patient areas.
• Sets up trays for meals and works on tray line positions.
• Processes soiled trays, dishes and utensils from carts through dishwasher.
• Assists in the serving of food and prepares snacks and beverages.
• Prepares nutritional supplements and tube feeding products and delivers to customer areas.
• Washes pots, pans and other equipment; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs daily cleaning duties and scrub/mop floors as required.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Director.
