• Obtain portable radiographs in nursing units, ORs and ED as needed.
• Represent the hospital with good guest relations and promote the department's image.
• Ensure proper patient identification and document procedures in the HIS.
• Maintain radiation protection with shielding and safety practices.
• Stay current with developments via journals, in-services and seminars.
• Assist in training radiology students and new staff.
• Act as a resource for residents and radiologists.
• Report equipment malfunctions and keep areas clean.
• Maintain supplies to perform the job.
