Job summary

The Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office is seeking qualified candidates for the position of extra-help/part-time Deputy District Attorney V. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with a passion for seeking and pursuing justice on behalf of crime victims, and experience or connections to prosecution or law enforcement.

Responsibilities include handling prosecution matters as Attorney V, potentially in a specialized unit, under the direction of a Chief Deputy District Attorney.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an Attorney IV or equivalent.
• Pass California State Bar and possess valid bar license.
• Complete and pass background investigation at time of initial hire.
• Active membership in good standing in the State Bar of California is required at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Handle any and all types of legal prosecution matters as a part-time extra-help Attorney V for the District Attorney’s Office.
• May include responsibility for a specialized unit; and
• Other duties as assigned
